On Tuesday me and my class went to Cable Bay with Room 14. It was half an hour drive to get there. I was suprised that it was Cable Bay because I just went there. We had lunch there, when I saw everybody jumping in the sea I thought why don't I jump in there too! We had a good splash around there. We turned into Mermen!
After that I was trying to find crabs and I accidently fell over and dropped a rock on my finger. I cried then I wrapped my towel around me. I saw a fire burning and there were marshmallows and sausages to be cooked, by us! I got to have two marshmallows and one sausage. Arlo, Year 3.
On Tuesday my class Room 15 went to Cable Bay. In my mum's car was me, Ben, and Georgina. It took half an hour to get there. When we got there, everyone was down on the rocks, but we were on the wrong side of the beach. So we got back in the car and drove to the other side. When we got to the right side we started to look for things on and in the rock pools. After we found a lot of things we sat and ate lunch. Then I went for a swim. It was cold, when I got out I made up a song with Paige. Then I roasted a marshmallow and went home. Miro Year 4
Room 14 and 15 went to Cable Bay. We found lots of interesting and outstanding objects. There were sea anemones, the colour of pink and light green, there were shells of different kinds and there were rocks as sharp as blades. We collected cool things in our buckets. Then we went for a swim in our clothes! It was freezing cold. All of the boys kept throwing sloppy, icky mud! Some of the girls and I relaxed at the end with magazines to read. We had toasted marshmallows on a stick. Then sadly we had to go back with memories of the breath taking adventure we had. Maraea, Year 5
