John Bevan Ford

This week we visited Te whare Toi ō Whakatū- The Suter Art Gallery, and we looked at the exhibition of "John Bevan Ford"
The exhibition was called: He Aho Tangata- The Human Threads
John Bevan Ford- (1930-2005)Ngāti Raukawa ki Kapiti, Ngāti Wehiwehi, drew inspiration from Māori Arts of raranga, tāniko, whakairo, kōwhaiwhai and korowai.
His work has connections to people from Te Moana nui a Kiwa, North America and China.

Mai ana kōrero, ko tana whakapono ko te whenua te mauri mō mātou katoa, kei te whenua he wairua ki te hononga tētahi ki tētahi.
