Kapahaka

Tēna tātou katoa!

Mauri ora whānau!!
Well, I have just returned from Annnual Meeting(NZEI- Te Whanganui a Tara) and thought I would do a posting on here for you to read.
First and foremost, well done to all of our Kapahaka tamariki, I was so, so proud of all of you. Ko te mea nui ki ahau, ko te wairua, ā, kei ā koutou katoa te wairua.
FAntastic placings too...
1st- Whaikōrero
1st equal- Kaitātaki tāne
2nd- Waiata tira (Choral)
3rd- Haka
3rd- Waiata-a-ringa
3rd- Poi
3rd- Uniformity

Fantastic effort and attitude throughout the whole day! And also a big ups to our Piipiwharauroa, where Max placed 3rd in the Whaikōrero!
Fantastic day, fantastic attitudes, awesome support, Mauri ora whānau!

We have also had ERO visit our kura, and we were extremely pleased with their feedback as well. Well done Te Pouahi, e āi kī ngā kōrero ō Neherā: Kōtahi te kohāo ō te ngira e kuhuna ai, he miro mā, he miro whero, he miro pango. (There is but one eye of the needle through which all threads must pass- we all need to move together in unison)

Ānei ētahi whakaahua mai te rā nui!!

Kia Ora from Australia,
We have had a look at the photo's and read some of the poems, great work!
Kaia, Nikau & Kauri loved those fierce maori faces in the pictures!
